Harry Styles performed in Warsaw! Highlights from his unforgettable concert

Flying feathers from colorful scarves, crowds dressed all in pink and heart shaped sunglasses in the capital of Poland could mean only one thing: Harry Styles’ first concert in Warsaw. On the 2nd of July, one of the most popular artists in the world performed at PGE Narodowy Stadium. What do we know about the performance of the singer who won over thousands of hearts of Polish listeners?

Harry Styles’ performance took place in Warsaw as part of Love On Tour organized by Live Nation Poland. This nearly two-year project was met with great enthusiasm by fans, convincing the artist to announce new dates and places of events over time that also included Poland. Harry's performance promoted his recently released album “Harry’s House” which had a viral hit called "As It Was" with nearly 2.5 billion streams on Spotify. 

On Sunday evening in Warsaw, crowds could be seen heading down the Poniatowski Bridge to listen live to their idol. Pink outfits, furry cowboy hats, or distinctive heart-shaped glasses could be seen from a distance. However, before the main star took the stage, the band Wet Leg played in front of the people gathered in the stadium. The British music group, which has been active since 2018, performed as the singer's support at the PGE Narodowy. The audience greeted the creators of the song "Wet Dream" with loud cheers, dancing and singing along with the musicians during their performance.

With a slight delay, the artist appeared on the stage dressed in the characteristic colors of the Ukrainian flag, starting his performance with the song "Daydreaming". When the singer arrived at stage, you could hear an overwhelming wave of cheers from fans gathered in the stadium. Just after playing the songs "Golden" and "Adore You", Harry addressed the audience directly, thanking them for coming. He also noted that it was his first concert in the capital of Poland. He encouraged all his fans to dance, sing along, and have fun. While also asking them to be mindful of your own safety and to respond if anyone needed help. 

After such a warm welcome, the fans took over during the singer's next song, performing choreography to "Keep Driving”. Almost all the people gathered in the stadium waved their phones with flashlights up and down to the beat of the song, creating an amazing scenery. Nor was this the only moment where fans' advance preparation was evident. During the song "Matilda" in addition to many bright lights shimmering in the dimmed stadium, a sign saying "Home" could be seen, made of red cards raised and held by the audience. They also formed, in the same way, a heart shape on one of the lower stands.

The singer's nearly two-hour performance was full of many musical surprises. In addition to songs from his latest album, the artist also performed those associated with the early days of his career in the band One Direction.  "Stockholm Syndrome", "What Makes You Beautiful" combined with parts from the track "Best Song Ever" gave everyone goosebumps. It is also worth mentioning that the whole event was accompanied by stunning animations displayed on the screens in front and on the sides of the stage.

During the concert, we could only spot Harry and his band on stage. There were no dancers, or special effects such as flames or confetti at the very end of the performance. However, this shows that the artist alone is enough to put on an unforgettable show for many fans. An important part of the evening was also the interaction with the audience. The singer read signs created by his listeners, asked for their names, and engaged in conversation about their families or relationships. The whole thing resulted in waves of laughter through the national stadium, in addition to cheers from fans. The concert ended with an encore, featuring his most popular songs like "Sign of The Times", "Medicine" "As It Was" and "Kiwi".

Despite the fact that the stadium was filled with many excited fans, the entire event proceeded very smoothly. People gathered on the platform were provided with water by security personnel, who distributed it among the crowd to ensure their safety. Entering, exiting, and finding seats were not major issues, thanks to the excellent organization of the event. All of this had a significant impact, allowing fans to focus on singing, dancing, and having a great time. Undoubtedly, many listeners who showed up at the PGE Narodowy on July 2 will again look forward to Harry Styles' return to Poland.
